Adaptive Skibiking - Expanding Access to the Slopes

At the American Skibike Association, we believe that everyone deserves the opportunity to experience the freedom and thrill of skibiking.

Skibikes provide a versatile, stable, and adaptive-friendly way to navigate the mountain, making them an excellent option for riders of all abilities. Adaptive skibikers can ride Type 1, 2, and 3 skibikes, as well as bi-skis and other innovative sliding devices, ensuring that there’s a setup suited to each individual's needs.

We are proud to support the Hartford Ski Spectacular, one of the ski industry’s largest adaptive events. This incredible gathering brings together adaptive athletes, instructors, and innovators, providing a space to collaborate, test new equipment, and push the boundaries of what’s possible on snow.

Additionally, the Professional Ski Instructors of America (PSIA) offers certifications in Adaptive Snowsports, including Beginner Bi-Ski instruction, ensuring that adaptive riders receive high-quality coaching tailored to their needs.

If you're an adaptive rider interested in exploring skibiking, we invite you to connect with us to learn more about available equipment, training, and events. Let’s ride together and make the mountains more accessible for all!
