Race cancelled due to the ability to build the racecourse. The SkiBike Festival is still on!
As you are aware the SkiBiker–X race at Purgatory has been canceled. When we received notice from ski area management that they could not build the racecourse, we felt it was best to get that information to all our members ASAP…so you could make individual decisions and potentially change your travel plans with a 30 days in advance notice. That being said, the American SkiBike Association board members have been in continuous contact with Purgatory Ski Resort management. We are happy to let all of you know that we will still be having a SkiBike Festival. What this exactly means we don’t know yet…as we are still working out the details with the ski resort! We will provide more information and details to all of you as soon as we know more!
Once again, the race is canceled due to snow conditions, but we will still have a SkiBike Festival and hope you can make it out.
We thank you for your patience as we navigate this unfortunate curve ball from Mother Nature!

The Hoodoo Ski Bike Festival celebrates our love of alternative sports at Hoodoo. Hoodoo is unique in allowing full-mountain access for skibikes, Trikkes, snowskates and snow scoots. Skibiking is a fun, easy-to-learn activity that provides a safe and low-impact way to hit the slopes. This event is great for seasoned skibikers and for those who have always wanted to try the sport.

Join the U.S. Skibob Association for our first annual Skibob Fun Race at Purgatory Resort's Nastar course on Sunday, March 26! Everyone is invited to this fun & friendly event with Adaptive, Women's and Men's divisions. No racing experience necessary. We want to see you there!
Race Enrty Fee: $10
Register & Pay HERE
Schedule:
10:00 a.m. - Racers will meet at the Nastar Hut at the top of Upper Hades for a racer meeting.
10:15-11:30 a.m. - Racers will have the opportunity to take unlimited practice runs on the Nastar course.
11:30 a.m. - Racers will each take 2-3 official runs (time permitting), with the fastest time counting.
1:15-1:30 p.m. - A casual awards ceremony will be held at the Nastar Hut.
TO REGISTER:
1. Complete the registration form at www.skibobusa.com and pay the $10 registration fee.
2. Create a free Nastar racer ID so we can track your times for the race. Visit www.nastar.com. Select Register and enter your personal information. Under Racer Discipline, select 'Snowbike' and under Club Team select 'US Skibob.' Scroll down to read and sign the required Nastar waivers, then click Register to submit.
